Tea Factory Museum
Located in the highlands of South Mauritius, the Tea Factory Museum of Bois Cheri has been operating since 1892, and is the country’s first and largest tea producer.
Rhumerie de Chamarel
Situated in South West Mauritius and in the heart of a fertile valley, the Rhumerie de Chamarel is surrounded by vast sugarcane plantations that grow in harmony with pineapples and other tropical fruits. The Grand Bassin, or Ganga Talao, is a 1800 feet sacred Lake situated 2 km east of Le Pétrin. The crater lake is one of the most important hindu pilgrimage sites outside of India.
